This video shows how easy it is to pack a duffel! The 34" size Athalon duffel is shown partially packed. This duffel opens fully so you can remove one item of clothing without disturbing the rest of the clothes. The duffel will unzip completely to remove one item. The net pocket on along the duffel keeps clothing from falling out when you want to remove one item. It's really a smart design making duffels much easier to pack, unpack and use! The 34" size shown is considered "oversized" by many airlines. The 29" duffel size is within the 62" linear size restrictions that many airlines now use. You can compute the linear size by adding the length plus the height plus the width. The 22" size duffel can be used as a carry on. It meets the requirements for most domestic airlines. All of the Athalon duffels in the four sizes will pack up the same way. They all unzip to remove one article of clothing. Another benefit of this duffel is that it will fold down flat for storage. You can easily slide it under the bed or place it in the back of a closet. The 34" size duffel is used most often by students who are taking a lot of clothing and travel accessories. Although they may be charged extra at airports, they want the biggest! Duffels are also lightweight, but when a 34" size duffel is stuffed to capacity with shoes, clothes, bedding, etc., it may go overweight if you are restricted to a fifty pound limit. Bus, trains, or driving, there are no weight or size restrictions so you can go to town packing.
