Atlantic Luggage Warranty Information
Atlantic luggage collections are covered by a ten year limited warranty. This Atlantic luggage warranty is a comprehensive warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Atlantic will repair or replace, if repair is not possible, any problem that occurs because of the unlikely defect in materials or workmanship. This repair will be at their expense. The Atlantic warranty does not cover damage or wear caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier. Atlantic strongly suggests you examine your luggage carefully for any damage before leaving the airport, bus or train terminals, or cruiseline port. Report the damage immediately at the time the damage has occurred. If you do not follow this procedure, you risk that the damage will not be covered under airline policy (or the common carrier policy) or the Atlantic warranty. You can follow up on airline damage claims when made to the airline at: Aviation Consumer Protection Division, US Dept. of Transportation C-75, 400 7th Street, SW, room 4107, Washington, D.C. 20590. During normal handling, your luggage may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather trim, etc., will show wear. The wear is not covered under the Atlantic warranty. Atlantic can refurbish your bags at nominal costs. You will also be responsible for shipping costs.
